Shrek
Shrek was a huge surprise (it is for me). I didn't know anything about it until it came out in Australia, and therefore I thought it was going to be just another average Computer Animated film. Well it turns our I was wrong.
Shrek was a great film, with great graphics and well done animations. It was really funny, in it's own way. Eddie Murphie (??? I forgot how to spell it :-) played the Donkey, and was really funny as usually, with his great jokes, funny way of talking, and the funny version of the song "I'm a Believer". This film wouldn't have been the same without him for sure. Other voice-overs were really good too, but I just HAD to mention the Donkey!
The storyline is quite good too. It's a fairytale of all fairytales. I'm not going to talk about the storyline coz I would wanna spoil it for you. Anyways ... the movie is great and it's NOT just a "Just a worm up before the big, Final Fantasy: Spirits Within". I rather think that FF: Spirits Within, won't even do as good as Shrek did.
What am I doing writing film reviews on this site anyway ... well it just seems that I see more movies then I buy games. I will still have two more film reviews this year for sure;
Artificial Intelligence - Sometime after 13th September - yes people, that's when we get A.I. unlike all you lucky people living in US, and;
Final Fantasy: Spirits Within - Sometime after 26th September.
And I'll hopefully have an NBA Street Review up in a week or less. If it comes up by then :-(. I went to the shops yesterday and they still didn't have it.
